Here are pictures of Kinnickinnic Valley Residence was designed by M.A Architecture.

From M.A Architecture : ” This residence is a sensitive addition to an existing rural log compound. A new, more modern interpretation of the style of the existing flanking log home and log garage was used for the structure that links them, which contains the core elements of the compound-kitchen, dining, living room and family bedroom upstairs.

Energy efficiency, recycled green materials and sustainability drove decision on the project. Reclaimed timber framing, intricate log joinery and local limestone are used to form a core element counterpoint to more modern materials and expressions. ”

Lake Forest Park Residence Lake Forest Park Residence by Bjarko | Serra Architects

Located in Lake Forest Park, WA, in a combination of natural forest and mature landscaping, According to the Bjarko | Serra Architects “this 1928 cottage had gone through several additions over the years. With this iteration, the cottage’s original rooms and facade were to remain intact, while the rest of the house was renovated and updated. Each new room takes advantage of the natural setting in a distinct way. The living room, for example, reaches out to a stand of cedars, taking on the character of a tree house. The interiors of the past additions have been completely updated to match the new areas, creating a unified feel for all of the family spaces.”

Contemporary Garden by Eckersley Garden Architecture.psd Contemporary Garden by Eckersley Garden Architecture

Designed by Eckersley Garden Architecture, nestled amongst large native trees, clean and simple of Garden Architecture. The brief for this garden came from a young active family who love to entertain and didn’t want to spend all of their spare time slaving in the garden. A new pool was also an important inclusion for the fast growing tribe of kids. The result is a contemporary garden which extends the strong lines of the architecture into the garden and then softens them with carefully sited plantings. Material choices are also sympathetic to the neutral tones of the house – muted greys of pebble seeded aggregate and weathered timber all work easily in the space.
